Roasted Sage Carrots

A sweet & savory recipe for carrots and the clean-up is cinch.

INGREDIENTS

4 cups Grateful Hearts Farm carrots washed and cut on the bias

2 T chopped sage leaves 

2 T butter cut into pieces

Salt & pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

Place all ingredients in a foil packet and place on the grill over medium heat for 15 minutes or until carrots are tender.

 

You can also place the foil packet on a cookie sheet and cook in a 400-degree oven for approximately 20  minutes (or until tender).

Roasted Butternut Squash

A delicious way to prepare butternut quick & easy

Ingredients

1/2 Butternut Squash cut into half inch pieces

1/2 Red onion largely diced

1 Bell pepper largely diced

Olive Oil

Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

Place all ingredients into bowl and mix with olive oil.  Pour all onto foil lined cookie sheet.  Place in 425-degree oven for approximately 20 minutes stirring occasionally.  Ready when squash it tender and lightly browned.  Salt and pepper to taste.
